Technical building management

The monitoring and measurement of physical parameters enriches and consolidates all of the parameters governing the life of a building and the management of its alarms.

The interweaving of the various modules built into DMB6000 enables better security for a site or building. This same base is a springboard to the overall management of a building, whether this is for controlling lighting, controlling technical alarms, or monitoring temperature. Not to mention the measurement of energy consumption to reach overall energy control with the aim of reducing costs and the overall ecological imprint.

The statistical analysis of the database, combined with real-time information, facilitates decision-making in the daily operation of the site under surveillance. It is data collection which is the basis for possible energy savings.

Energy optimisation of the system in place must remain in symbiosis with the building occupants in order to ensure their comfort. For example, the interaction between the action of opening a window and the instant change in the heating set-point temperature gives significant energy savings. It is the same for uniformity at light level depending on the occupation of building areas.

Presence of people on-site

Depending on building access, the system will be able to control office lighting, heating or air-conditioning controls and, depending on the flow of people, anticipate the periods for heating the building.

Monitoring different energy sources

Metering energy according to the different possible energy sources and the time they are used during the day gives baseline information for day-to-day management. Power shedding depending on consumption and the time of day remains a determining factor in reducing bills connected to the quarter-hourly peak and also avoid penalties.

Statistical analyses

The tool allows the presentation of results to be customised depending on the requirements sought, in the form of tables and graphs.

Measurements of physical parameters

The collection of temperatures, pressures, flow-rates or other data may be displayed in the form of graphs and interpreted through statistical analysis.

Managing preventative maintenance

Depending on the time the various pieces of equipment are used, it will be possible to plan for maintenance and part replacement according to the useful lifespans specified by the manufacturer.
